He integrates somatic principles into his teaching to enhance movement mechanics, alignment, and injury prevention. His expertise in Laban/Bartenieff material enriches his pedagogy, empowering students to develop sustainable habits for the physical demands of a professional dance career.

He approaches all work from an injury prevention-based practice. Rusty works with clients, old and young, independently to build healthy life practices for the sustainability of a career as a performer or just for a better functional life journey.
