Busted Nuts: A full length one evening ballet

opens in the stark and cold Cratchit home where the family is about to share a small holiday dinner. Ebenezer Scrooge arrives transformed, bringing generosity, a feast, and a shimmering Jack-in-the-Box. Turning its handle, Tiny Tim triggers a dazzling transition and brings the Jack in the Box to Life. Together They fight off the pack of angry mice and are transported to the Land of Diversity, a vibrant realm of cultures and traditions. Guided by the Jack in the Box, Tiny Tim meets characters from various backgrounds who share their dances and customs, celebrating unity. Eventually, they both meet the beautiful queen of this land and are given the gift of encouragement and confidence. Returning home, Scrooge and Tiny Tim carry the lessons of compassion and unity, closing on a heartwarming reminder of the beauty in our differences.  The curtain falls as Tiny Tim joyfully hugs his family, his spirit alive with the lessons learned. Scrooge, transformed forever, vows to continue nurturing that spirit of unity and kindness, embodying the true essence of Christmas.

The Ballet remixes the music of Tchaikovsky with a modern-day interpretation and the action includes all forms of dance from ballet to hip hop, tap, contemporary, and many more.
